WHAT: San Pedro Creek Improvements Project Public Workshop

WHO: Bexar County, City of San Antonio, and the San Antonio River Authority
Bexar County and the City of San Antonio, in cooperation with the San Antonio River Authority (SARA), will host the first in a series of public workshops on Saturday, August 23 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00pm at the Columbus Italian Society, 201 Piazza Italia to gather input from the public on the development and designs of San Pedro Creek. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with refreshments available.
The project will focus on efforts to: advance flood mitigation, revitalize natural habitat and water quality, reimagine the creek as a linear urban park, and to enhance and catalyze cultural and economic revitalization opportunities.
