WHAT: San Pedro Creek Improvements Project Public Workshop
WHEN: Saturday, December 6, 2014, 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
WHERE: St. Henry Catholic Church Hall, 1619 South Flores Street, San Antonio
WHO: Bexar County and the San Antonio River Authority
Bexar County and the San Antonio River Authority, in cooperation with the City of San Antonio, will host the second public workshop on Saturday, December 6 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at St. Henry’s Catholic Church Hall, 1619 South Flores Street to present the advancement on concept designs and seek further public input on the San Pedro Creek Improvements Project. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with refreshments available.
The project will focus on efforts to: advance flood mitigation, revitalize natural habitat and water quality, reimagine the creek as a linear urban park, and to enhance and catalyze cultural and economic revitalization opportunities.
All residents are encouraged to participate in the workshop to provide feedback on the developing designs to ensure that the redevelopment of San Pedro Creek meets the hopes and desires of the community.
