National Poetry Month Writing Workshop

Saturday, April 23 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Poets, writers, and journalists are invited to explore art and nature at San Pedro Creek Culture Park with local writer and event co-host, Don Mathis. Participants will receive a guided tour of the park, including a sneak peek at the next segment of the project, which is currently under construction. All participants must wear pants and sturdy, close-toed shoes for the construction portion of the tour. Safety vests and hats will be provided. The writing workshop will take place after the tour at Casa Navarro. Refreshments will be provided and prizes will be awarded for poems created during this free event. Bring your smart device or paper and pen and be ready to be inspired!
